GMV was delighted to host its first event this year on Saturday 8th August for residents who had a wonderful time getting arty with Florist, Katy Coe on her Summer Wreath Making course.
The event saw several sessions being run throughout the day and residents joined Katy Coe and her abundance of beautiful flowers to create summer wreaths which they were able to take home to brighten up their front doors. Blooms ranging from bright yellow sunflowers, pink and orange gerberas and carnations in a burst of colours were on offer with a selection of fabulous foliage to interweave into the wreaths.
The Oracle Group created stylish wooden hearts which depicted rainbows as a thank you to the NHS and were attached to each of the wreaths.
Residents and their families came together to enjoy doing something creative, and despite it being an extremely hot day, we saw a lot of smiling faces and everyone had a fantastic time.
GMV are hopeful that this community event will be the first of a series of occasions where the residents can come together to make new friends and enjoy the ambience of this unique London development.
We think that GMV probably has the best dressed front doors in London this week!
Please note – all social distancing guidelines were followed.
