Case Study

Client: Countryside

Project:

Placemaking at Beaulieu

Category: Campaigns

As joint-venture development partners, Countryside and L&Q appointed The Oracle Group to support the long-term place-making campaign for its new development, Beaulieu. Oracle implemented a robust PR programme aimed at raising the profile of this vibrant new district in Chelmsford, one of the largest regeneration projects in the country. Beaulieu will deliver up to 3,600 new homes in an inspirational landscape.

The PR has supported a diverse range of place-making activities, as well as raising awareness of new commercial, educational, recreational and transport facilities. Oracle has helped to promote the vision for Beaulieu to the local and national media, with articles covering everything from charity sponsorship and fundraising and a ground-breaking ceremony for the new Community Centre, to the proposals for a new railway station and a unveiling significant public arts projects.

Coverage has included national papers such as The Times, Evening Standard, and the Metro, as well as extensive coverage in local publications, including, Essex Chronicle, The Enquirer and Anglia Business Magazine, trade publications including Planning & Placemaking and FutureArch.

Building relationships with key media, local influencers and ensuring that the Beaulieu brand is regularly featured in consumer press are all part of our long-term working strategy, and has extended to the creation or regular resident newsletters and community events.

“Oracle’s ability to take a marketing brief and deliver above expectations, in time and to budget is second to none – they never let me down.”
