Project:

Creating an activity pack for Key Stage 1 children

Category: Content Marketing

Fuelling a desire to give something back, whilst giving parents and teachers an aid for keeping children occupied and away from screens, our client The Hill Group tasked us with creating a Children’s Activity Pack.

We were briefed to design a booklet that would engage with Key Stage 1 children to give them something fun and creative to do over the Easter holidays and beyond.

The final product offered something for everyone and included a competition to design, draw or model a dream home.  Children were encouraged to use their imagination and could use Play Dough, Lego, colouring pens or even household items to create a home – letting their ingenuity go mad, with a prize for the best creations to be sent over via a photo to win vouchers.

The activity pack has already been a great success and in the first month it had 251 pages views and 121 sessions.  Hill has been so impressed by the results that we have been asked to design an updated version for children to enjoy over the summer holidays.

Hill is always keen to share their passion for construction and homes so we were sure to make something that was teeming with colouring sheets, dot to dots, spot the difference and games, each one with a link to construction, designed to make the children more aware of their homes and surroundings.

“Many of us are parents at Hill Group and we are keenly aware of the challenges the pandemic has caused to working parents needing support in keeping their children occupied.  We have put this pack together to help parents find things for their children to do that takes them away from screens and allow them to use their imaginations to create, colour and design. We are keen to give something back to all those hardworking parents and we hope that this activity pack will be a useful tool over the holidays and the coming weekends.”
