Awards are one of the most prestigious in the housebuilding sector, and took place last year on the 18th November at Grosvenor House Hotel. This annual event celebrates excellence and innovation of UK housebuilders and is judged by a first-class panel of experts that comprises of architects, surveyors, property writers and industry specialists.
The Brief
We were asked to craft an award entry for our client Burrington Estates, in the ‘Best Small Housebuilder’ category. This highly coveted title is one of the WhatHouse? awards ceremony’s most competitive sections and celebrates the exceptional work of niche housebuilders that construct less than 100 homes a year.
Our Response
When it comes to writing award entries for clients, it is important that submissions cover all formulaic topic bases that the judges look for, as well as evoking a sense of individualistic creativity. Striking this balance is one of our strengths and was a key to producing a top quality entry in this highly-populated category.

Using hi-res eye-catching photography along with engaging copy, our completed entry efficiently conveyed this core ethos, as well as showcasing various aspects of Burrington Estates’ impressive development portfolio, with a focus on eco-conscious features, interior design, and customer service standards.
The Result
Our award entry for Burrington Estates received a prestigious Bronze Award in the Best Small Housebuilder of the Year 2022 category.
